Phaladingwe

Once again Ufudu stood in our driveway at home but this time for a few days only.

Our friend Leni Hamilton had invited us to join them on a hike at Phaladingwe, situated next to Pelindaba. It would be the first of a number of hikes before Leni and I embarked on the Portuguese Camino in September. The timing was ideal for Roger and my planning too. We could then join them on the hike on Saturday the 13th and spend the night in Ufudu before taking him back to Silver Creek Gorge on Sunday.

After a pleasant hike on Sunday morning we invited the group for a flip in Buzz, which everyone eagerly accepted except Sarel and Gerhard who had other arrangements.

Buzz was put to ‘bed’, together with Ufudu before we headed home. Until the next time…
